You make each word count, which is so important in books of this genre. You manage to perfectly keep the pacing and tension, and your expertise in the subject matter shines through in a very accessible way for the reader. Although your story would be considered a police procedural, I never felt as though you were overdoing the descriptions. You give enough information to add believability to your plot and to your characters. The plot itself was interesting enough to keep my interest. Great job!
